Transfer MetaZ Domain Ownership

The ownership of the MetaZ domains will be protected with the blockchain technology. To secure the user data and ownership information of each and every domain, MetaZ is using a private blockchain to store this security information.

Whenever a user wants to buy a Meta domain, from a registrar service or a third-party user who owns that particular meta domain, the ownership will be transferred to the buyer through MetaZ blockchain verification and updates will be recorded.

Different types of keys will be used to secure the data of every MetaZ user and their assets.

Types of Keys in MetaZ

Other than the cryptographic technologies used to secure MetaZ data, users will need to know the type of keys they have to deal with.

Public Key

This is the key that a user can share with anyone and it will hold the public records of each and every metaverse domain user including their assets in MetaZ.

However, this key is not associated with the personal information of users and is unique across the MetaZ systems.

Private Key

The private key will be assigned to the users by domain registrars when a user creates a wallet in their domain registration platform.

This will be used to perform activities within the domain registrar wallet such as password reset and wallet recovery. This key is not to be shared with anyone as the one who holds this key can get access to the wallet.

Also, this key will not be shared with MetaZ, and the domain registrar service will secure these keys.

Blockchain Key (zKey)

zKey will be issued to users who submit KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements in MetaZ.

This will be saved in a private blockchain of MetaZ and this will be the ultimate security in case a user loses access to any asset. Also, the zKey will be required to transfer metaverse domains to another user. Therefore, it’s advisable to submit KYC requirements and obtain the zKey.
